Insulation Services - Poorly Insulated Cantilever

To resolve the leaky cantilever in Eatontown, NJ we first removed the piece of wood below the cantilever. Next we removed the old fiberglass insulation from the cantilever. Using our 4” thick SilverGlo foam board insulation we block each joist bay. Each block is sealed in with expanding foam. We have now completely blocked outside air from leaking into the home. Finally, we installed a 4” thick SilverGlo insulation board against the underside of the floor deck and sealed with foam. This homeowner now has a properly insulated cantilever that will provide a more comfortable and energy efficient home.
