Insulation Services Photo Album: Resolving Insulation Issues for a Homeowner in Middletown Township, NJ
This homeowner in Middletown Township, NJ, struggled with year-round comfort issues—too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. During our inspection, we discovered that the attic had insufficient insulation. To address the problem, we air-sealed the attic, added TruSoft cellulose insulation to achieve an optimal R-value of R-60, and insulated and sealed any leaky ducts. Finally, we installed a David Lewis Hatch cover to seal the leaky attic entrance effectively. Now, with proper insulation, this homeowner can enjoy consistent comfort throughout the seasons while reducing their energy bills.
Catwalk & Storage
We constructed wooden retaining walls to secure the cellulose insulation and built a catwalk for convenient storage and access to the attic's mechanical systems.
Optimal R-Value of R-60
We installed TruSoft cellulose insulation to achieve the optimal R-value of R-60.
Insulated Over Ductwork or Flex Trunks
Any ductwork or flex trunks are surrounded and buried by cellulose insulation to help insulate the ducts.
