Insulation Services Photo Album: ProWool Attic Insulation in Red Bank, NJ

This customer in Red Bank, NJ opted to have his home insulated with one of Dr. Energy's newest and most effective products, ProWool, after realizing his homes obsolete insulation was costing him comfort and too much money in energy bills.  ProWool is a rockwool insulation made from recycled materials and one of the safest and most effective insulations you can put in your home.  ProWool, can delay the spread of a fire in your house because it's chemical composition will not allow it to burn or catch on fire.  ProWool will also, repel any moisture and it's inert chemical compostition makes it impossible for any mold or fungus to grow on the insulation.  Along with needing to insulate his attic with ProWool loose-fill insulation, it was important that the whole attic be air sealed throroughly with spray foam to ensure that no air is leaking into or out of the home.  Dr. Energy Saver also built the customer a custom catwalk to access deep parts of the attic and possibily use it for storage.  Additionally, there were a few exposed kneewalls in this customers attic which needed to be properly insulated with 2" polyisocyanurite foam board in order to stop air leakage through the wall.  With these solutions applied to the home, the customer was able to notice a large difference in the level of comfort in their house and their energy bills with the increased efficiency of the home.
