Photo Album: Duct Encapsulation & Repair in Berkeley Township, NJ

Our team inspected this homeowner’s attic in Berkeley Township, NJ and found their ductwork in horrible shape. This owner wanted us to make their home more comfortable and with their ductwork leaking they were spending more money to heat or cool their house. This is why our customers call us, so we can come in and solve their comfort and energy issues. We first repaired the ducts by sealing the seams with tape and mastic sealant. Our team replaced the damaged supply trunk with a new metal insulated supply trunk. Once we connect the new supply trunk our team will encapsulate any loose connections or any other gaps in the ductwork by using CCSP (Closed Cell Spray Foam). Next we encapsulate our owner’s metal ductwork by installing our 2 inch SilverGlo foam boards over the metal ducts. Finally, we use our orange ZypFoam sealant to seal any of the remaining gaps in the encapsulation process and burying the ducts by blowing-in our TruSoft cellulose insulation.
