Leaky Supply Trunk
Leaky and deuterating supply trunk.
Supply Trunk Leaking
Looking at the deuterating supply trunk we can see where air is leaking and seeping out.
Trunk Connection
When we peal back the insulation we can see gaps where air is leaking or seeping out.
Deuterating Supply Trunk
This supply trunk is leaking badly and needs to be replaced with a new metal insulated supply trunk.

Supply Trunk & Metal Duct
We use our SilverGlo insulation boards to encapsulate any metal ducts. Also we use CCSF (Closed Cell Spray Foam) to help air seal and encapsulate the ductwork.
Encapsulated Metal Ductwork
We encapsulate the metal ductwork by installing our SilverGlo insulation boards to the metal ductwork. Finally we use our orange ZypFoam sealant to air seal any gaps or seems leftover.
New Supply Trunk
We replaced the old supply trunk with a new metal insulated supply trunk. We bury the trunks with our TruSoft cellulose insulation.
Completed Project
Looking at this image we can see we fully encapsulated all the ducts and buried them in our TruSoft cellulose insulation. We used tape and mastic to code, spray foamed the ducts, encapsulated the metal ducts by installing our SiverGlo insulation boards, used our orange ZypFoam sealant to air seal the rest of the ducts and replaced the old supply trunk with a new metal insulated supply trunk. The ductwork in this house is now full repaired, air sealed and or encapsulated.
