Photo Album: Super Attic with Kneewalls in Red Bank, NJ

In Red Bank, NJ the homeowner was feeling uncomfortable in their house. The owner felt warm or cold dependent on the seasons and weather. Our team inspected the owner’s house and found older fiberglass insulation in the attic with a complex Kneewall system. The attic Kneewall and other Kneewall that wrapped around two rooms were completely lacking the proper insulation. Looking at both Kneewalls we spray foamed the rim joists to eliminate the outside air from leaking into the house or back rooms. Next we installed our SilverGlo foam insulation panels by fastening the panels to the rafters up the Kneewall and sealed the seams with our orange ZypFoam sealant. In the main attic our team spray foamed the rim joists and installed our Foamax insulation panels on the underside of the roof deck. Next we use orange ZypFoam sealant to seal the gaps and seams of the Foamax insulation panels. Finally we dense pack behind the Foamax panels by blowing-in our TruSoft Cellulose insulation. Our customer now enjoys a more comfortable and energy efficient home.
