Photo Album: Attic Insulation and Dense Packing Walls in Spring Lake, NJ

In Spring Lake, NJ, our customer was having their home renovated. A lot was being done to this house and our team worked in conjunction with other contractors to coordinate this project to its completion. A contractor was working on replacing the siding of the house and the siding was removed. This was a great opportunity for us to easily dense pack the exterior walls of the house. We were also able to have the overhang of the porch open. This allowed us to address insulating the overhang of the porch. Once inside the house we put up some clear plastic liners to prevent our TrueSoft Cellulose Insulation from being blown all over the house. We then dense packed the exterior walls of the second floor rooms. Finally, we insulated the attic using our Blown-in TrueSoft Cellulose insulation and installed our SuperDecking insulation onto the attic floors. Notice under the wooden planks or plywood we see our SilverGlo insulation boards installed. We air sealed the attic completely and encapsulated any leaky ducts. The rim joists are spray foamed and we now have a house that’s protected from the outside elements.
