Insulation Services Photo Album: Encapsulate Attic Duct System in Ocean Township, NJ

This homeowner in Ocean Township, NJ needed to have their attic air sealed and insulated properly. Once we air sealed the attic our team used orange ZypFoam sealant to seal any leaky ducts. We used our SilverGlo rigid foam insulation boards to encapsulate the metal ducts. We may use spray foam on smaller or harder to access areas but for the most part we use our SilverGlo insulation boards to encapsulate any ductwork. Next we use orange ZypFoam sealant to seal the seams of the SilverGlo insulation boards. Our SilverGlo insulation boards have a reflective barrier to them which help reflect heat off the ducts in the summer and helps insulate the ducts during the winter. Our customer now has a more comfortable house, lower fuel and electric bills.
