Metal Ductwork
Metal ductwork needs to be insulated. During the summer in NJ an attic can peak up to 130-140F and during winter an attic can peak below 30F.

Flex trunks connecting to the metal ductwork which needs to be sealed to prevent any leaky ducts.
Encapsulation Process
We are in the process of encapsulating the metal ductwork with our SilverGlo rigid foam insulation boards.
SilverGlo Duct Encapsulation
We fastened our SilverGlo rigid insulation boards to the metal ductwork. Next our team used orange ZypFoam sealant to air seal the attic, to seal the seams of the SilverGlo insulation and to seal any leftover leaky ducts.
Insulated Metal Duct
Customers properly insulated metal duct with our SilverGlo insulation and ZypFoam sealant.
SilverGlo Encapsulation Duct System
This ductwork was properly insulated with our SilverGlo insulation boards and sealed with our orange ZypFoam sealant. Though we are also in the process of blowing-in our TrueSoft cellulose insulation that will bury the rest of the flexible ducts.
