Dense Packing Inside Cavity Walls in Spring Lake, NJ
Challenge
Our customer in Spring Lake, NJ contacted us because their home had cold and drafty rooms during the winter. This homeowner had varying issues do to the older construction of their house. With this house our crew found rooms on the second floor with large pockets or cavities behind the interior walls that were not insulated. These large pockets or cavities in the interior walls with no insulation create cold and drafty rooms.
Solution
We have several rooms on the second floor that needed dense packing. To dense pack the interior walls we had our team carefully find the cavities of the wall and drilled holes into the plaster/sheetrock. Once the holes are drilled we then insert a tube or hose into the hole and blow-in our TruSoft Cellulose insulation.
By insulating the interior walls we have eliminated the cold and drafty rooms. In addition, our homeowner now enjoys paying less for their fuel/electric bills. Our TruSoft Cellulose insulation is environmentally safe, highly fire, mold and pest resistant.
